β 4-Day AI Coding Summer Camp Programme (Ages 9β14) Course Title: Discover AI with Python Duration: 4 Days (09:30 AM β 3:30 PM daily) Location: Lyonsdown Hall, New Barnet Price: Β£230 per child (Early Bird Offer Available) π§ Daily Breakdown Day 1 β Python Fundamentals & Algorithms Introduction to Python syntax and commands Writing simple programs (variables, loops, if-statements) Basic logic puzzles and coding challenges Understanding how computers βthinkβ and follow instructions Day 2 β Data & Decision Making Working with data types and structures (lists, dictionaries) Creating a chatbot decision tree using if/elif/else Hands-on with AI concepts: inputs, outputs, training data Mini-project: Build your own virtual pet or fortune teller bot Day 3 β Machine Learning for Kids What is Machine Learning? How does AI "learn"? Introduction to supervised learning using basic datasets Training a model to recognise text patterns Create a joke-telling or emotion-detecting chatbot Day 4 β Build & Showcase Your AI Project Plan, build and code your own simple AI-based application Use libraries like random, time, and scikit-learn (preloaded code) Test and improve your AI model Final Presentations to the group and mini prize giving π Booking System Text for Parents Welcome to our AI Coding Summer Camp! This unique 4-day course introduces children aged 9β13 to the exciting world of Artificial Intelligence using the powerful and real-world language of Python. Over the course of the camp, children will: β Learn core programming principles using Python β Understand how AI systems learn and make decisions β Build their own smart apps like chatbots and pattern recognisers β Gain critical thinking and problem-solving skills for the digital future Please note: This is a beginner-to-intermediate course, but children must be familiar with basic computer operations and show interest in technology or coding. Prior coding experience is helpful but not required β we teach in a fun, engaging, and supportive environment. Learning to code with AI is an essential 21st-century skill β itβs a gateway to creativity, confidence, and future career paths in a world increasingly shaped by smart technology.
